Deconstruction at Greenville home

The ReStore has another deconstruction that will be done over the next few weeks.  It is a house in Greenville, DE.  The kitchen cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, Pella windows, doors, and other items will be removed by ReStore staff and volunteers.  These items will be transported to the ReStore to be priced and sold.  The house will then be demolished.

Deconstructions save landfill space by removing usable items from houses, and buildings before demolition.  The owners get a tax deduction for the donation and the ReStore gets saleable items that otherwise would be  demolished with the rest of the building.
